Hi everyone! I'm a Bangladeshi-Canadian university student who loves to read, write, hike, and spend hours scrolling through Wikipedia. I'm interested in reconnecting with my Bengali heritage. I don't know much of my mother tongue, তবে প্রতি দিন আমি একটু একটু বাংলা শিখছি (tobe proti din ami ekʈu ekʈu bangla ʃikhchi) - but I am learning a little Bengali each day.
I was born and raised in Canada but my family is from Chittagong (চট্টগ্রাম) and Sylhet (সিলেট). I'm interested in learning about history, culture, and politics. I'm also interested in social and environmental issues, especially because I'm studying Earth and Environmental Science.
