It's rather a shame that the English language is not featured on Wikipedia. Hence, I thought I'd see how the other Wikipedias are doing with their articles about their languages. The languages are organized by number of articles according to the MetaWiki list of Wikipedias.
- English language is not featured on the English Wikipedia.

This is rather confusing to me. Of the 25 Wikipedias analyzed; only Japanese, Swedish, Catalan, Romanian, and Arabic have brought their own languages to featured status; and only Ukrainian and Czech have Good Articles about themselves. Why is there such a neglect for the languages on their Wikipedias? Surely the language in which the Wikipedia is written is the most important of its articles.
Please feel free to add more Wikipedias to this list in the format that I have given and in the order in which they are listed here. Interchangeable|talk to me
