Week 4;
Article Sources are cited below; finalized choice is Reducing equivalent.
Week 3 Potential Articles for Editing:
-These all have plenty of room for addition of content. Triose may be too broad to have a lot of overall content to add. -Dr. Tienson-Tseng
Week2 Article Evaluation Practice: (Acid Article) :
Stating that acid comes from the latin work acidus, is not relevant in the paragraph in which aqueous acids are being described. The statement is rather abrupt and makes the paragraph more difficult to follow. Again, later in the paragraph there is an abrupt statement regarding what acidic means. These statements do provide somewhat relevant information; however, they are placed in odd places in the article at the cost of more descriptive and useful information regarding acids.
Information regarding the importance of protonation states of amino acid should be mentioned to illustrate the role that acids play in maintaining pH in human bodies.
Citation number 11 leads to a textbook source, that not all readers could have easy access to if they do not pay for the book.
Wikiproject for Chemistry. Topics of discussion include the structure and flow of information for the article.
