Usage

Remember that parameters and values are case sensitive.

Parameter	What to Enter	What Does it do?
{{{Basin}}}	Basin=Atl. For Eastern Pacific tropical cyclones, type in |Basin=EPac. For Central Pacific tropical cyclones, type in |Basin=CPac.	This "tells" the template which basin the storm is in.
{{{Local Time}}}	Local Time=XX:XX a.m./p.m. XXX	This is for the local time as specified in the advisory.
{{{Local Date}}}	Local Date=Month Day	This is the local date as of the latest advisory.
{{{UTC Time}}}	UTC Time=XXXX	This specifies the UTC time. Should be written in Military time format.
{{{UTC Date}}}	UTC Date=Month Day	This specifies the day of the latest time in Universal Coordinated Time (UTC).
{{{Latitude}}}	Latitude=ValueDegrees signN/S	This specifies the latitude of the storm center as of the latest advisory.
{{{Longitude}}}	Longitude=ValueDegrees signE/W	This specifies the longitude of the storm center as of the latest advisory.
{{{1-min winds}}}	1-min winds=XX	This specifies the 1-minute sustained winds of the storm. Please input in knots.
{{{RSMC Gusts}}}	RSMC Gusts=XX	This specifies the estimated gusts of the storm as specified by the advisory. Please input in knots. Do Not use {{{Gusts}}} as that overrides the {{{1-minute winds}}} and is not used in this template for that purpose.
{{{Movement}}}	Movement=Compass direction	This specifies the direction the storm is moving in as per the latest advisory.
{{{Speed}}}	Speed=XX	This specifies the speed at which the storm is traveling at as per the latest advisory. Please input in knots. YOU NEED THIS PARAMETER FOR THE TEMPLATE TO WORK!!
{{{Pressure}}}	Pressure=Pressure Value	The pressure of the storm as per the latest advisory in mbar/hPa. Must be a number.
{{{Prepressure}}}	Prepressure=Numerical sign	Use this to add a modifier before the value of Pressure. Use only if pressure is not specified in the advisory!
{{{Image}}}	Image=Filename.file extension	Image of storm.
{{{Alt}}}	Alt=Alternate Text	Alt text for the image; see Wikipedia:Alternative text for images.
{{{Track}}}	Track=Storm Number Storm Year 5day.gif	Forecast track map for the storm.
{{{Track alt}}}	Track alt=Alternate Text	Alt text for the track.
{{{Type}}}	Type=Value	This will change the infobox to display any category you wish. Use this only if you do not have the maximum sustained winds. Type1 and Type2 will change the upper and lower boxes respectively.
{{{WarningCenter}}}	WarningCenter=Center Abbreviation	This will change the linked warning center in the top box. It does not change the default value in the lower box. Do Not Use this to specify NHC or CPHC in the infobox.
