FEBA (Forward Edge of Battle Area) Board Game The Gameboardgeek.com website describes FEBA as an "operational level, air-land battle simulation depicting modern mechanized war in Central Europe" circa 1983. Created by Close Simulations FEBA was produced for the U. S. Air Force as part of Project Warrior. Project Warrior was created in 1982 by General Lew Allen, Jr. as a professional development program to help Airmen better understand and apply airpower and warfare history. A copy of the game was issued to Wing and Squadron level intelligence units for use by pilots and intel personnel to practice a variety of war game scenarios common to the Cold War.
