Jawara football club is a professional football club founded by Abdullah Jawara, based in Apenkwa, Greater Accra, Ghana, that competes in the Greater Accra Regional League, the middle flight of Ghanaian football. Nicknamed "the Great Jawa", the club was founded as in 1993 and its current stadium, Apenkwa football park. Red and white is Jawara football club's traditional jersey. Jawara football club have won more trophies than any other club in the Greater Accra Regional football, with a record 20 League titles, 12 Zonal Cups, 5 Area League Cups and a record 25 City Gala League Cups. In 1994–1999, the club became the first in the history of Ghanaian Coast League to achieve the national competition treble. By winning the league in 2000–2005, they became one of three clubs to have won all three main national club competitions. Our aim is to practically train young and talented football players for Academy's and other football clubs in Ghana and international world. Great Jawa has 50 players including the head coach, Yussif Alhasan popularly known as Pep Guardiola.
