Oak Furniture Land is a British online retailer of exclusively hardwood furniture. It has a 10,000 sq ft Showroom based in Cheltenham, which opened in June 2010. Prior to this date, the showroom had been based at Kemble at the Cotswold Airport. The in-house team remains situated in Kemble and is responsible for sourcing, designing and manufacturing the products from start to finish.
The company currently employs more than 1,000 staff worldwide to handle every aspect of the business from timber sourcing, to design, manufacture, sales, delivery and after sales care.
Oak Furniture Land only sells 100% hardwood furniture; there are no veneers, chipboards or MDF’s in any of the products. The ranges offered include solid European oak, mahogany and Indian mango. Each individual piece of furniture is handcrafted by professional craftsmen using methods that are traditional to the material’s area of origin. Drawers are produced using dovetail joints and all timbers are carefully kiln dried to enhance the inherent strength of the wood.
