Hi, I'm Jacqueline Myra Yeung, a fifth year undergraduate student in the Human Computer Interaction Institute and School of Architecture at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA.
This summer, I am working with JeffRz to develop editing interfaces for Wikipedia that are intended to help newcomers and experienced editors. An approach is to provide more historical and discussion information about the articles, each editor gains perspective on where he is editing. The interface's goal is to improve the contribution to editing Wikipedia, avoiding the traditional talk and history pages. Expect a testable version later this summer.
I am interested in collaborative information building as well as increasing the number of Wikipedians through my research with current Wikipedians. Stay tuned here for current work and more.
