My name is Jonathan Ramlow. I live in Michigan, and I am an epidemiologist by training. I use Wikipedia constantly and rely on it heavily as a primary resource and as a portal leading to other information sources on the World Wide Web. I have found that it is much more useful in the latter way than the major search engines because the writers of almost all Wikipedia pages I've read seen to have done a very good job at locating the most relevant and informative non-Wikipedia sources.
So far I have limited my editing to the correction of errors in spelling, grammar, or syntax I find in Wikipedia articles I read. I would like to contribute an entire article some time, when I work up the nerve.
