Liam Faulk

Liam Faulk(born 26 February 2008) is an American ice hockey goaltender for the Nashville Predators Select Hockey Club. Faulk joined the Predators in the 2019-2020 tryouts. He quickly proved he deserved a spot in Nashville. Faulks's first season with the Predators, he got his first regular-season shut-out against the Charlotte Rush in 2020. In January 2020 Faulk went to Dallas for the Winter Classic. Faulk's playing career is 2019-present. Faulk has been able to adapt to various situations he's placed in. At the end of the 2019-2020 season, the Predators went to the SYTHL skills competition. Faulk won the save streak to give his team an extra point, hoping to get his team to first place in the skills competition. In the 2020-2021 season, Faulk was announced the Assistant Captain for the Predators. In October of 2020, Faulk went on to the Carolina Cup during the pre-season. Faulk ended up getting a shutout, tying the Pineville Falcons 0-0, they would end up facing them again in the championship. Faulk played half of a game against the Carolina Rage, and during half that game, Faulk didn't get scored on. The Predators Select ended up going to the championship game and tying the Falcons 1-1 during regulation time, then they went onto 4 on 4 overtime, during that time no one scored on either team. The teams then went onto a 5 man shootout, and the teams went through 17 shots before Faulk made the game-winning save, earning the Nashville Predators the gold medal in the 2020 Carolina Cup. Faulk got his third shutout of the season against the Atlanta MadHatters. A couple weeks later Faulk and the Predators went to Knoxville for another regular season tournament. Faulk's teammate goalie had suffered from a concussion after the first two games, Faulk had to play the remaining two games against the MadHatters and the Atlanta Fire. After playing the last 2 games Faulk got 2 shutouts for the team, letting him get his 5th shutout of the season. A week later Faulk and a few more selected people went on to play in a 3v3 tournament. After going 2-2 in the tournament they went on to play in the championship game against the Nashville Flyers, then after the 20 minute final game the Predators won the cup in a 5-3 championship game.
