Andres Leung, professional poet was born and raised in Stockton, California, 2003. Growing up Leung didn’t seem to have much interest into any type of writing. It wasn’t until 2009-2010 when his uncle died in a fatal shoot out where Leung found his spark to start writing poetry. Leung was first surfaced in July of 2019 on watt pad where he would post classics such as “Lost Feelings.” To further his writing career Leung also posted his work on Instagram where he gained some attention as well. Leung could also be seen published in places like Poets Espresso Review, or the American Library Of Poetry. It wasn’t until 2020 where Leung published his first poem collection titled “I was busy writing the stars” on watt pad getting him as high as 33rd overall best on the app. Eventually Leung started to publish with Barnes & Noble, and the same year published “I was busy writing the stars” for sale on the Barnes & Noble Website. In 2021 Leung has also published another poetry collection titled “Hearts Break Like Chain” which seemed like a even better collection than his last. As far as people can see Andres Leung has shown no signs of slowing down and plans to publish a poetry collection every year. With poetry coming back from the dead it’s safe to say Andres Leung is the front runner to be one of the greatest.
