I thought that to test this section, I would ask a few broader, more basic questions, and then create a few pages as hypothetical scenarios. For the hypothetical scenarios, simply state what you'd do if you came across this article in mainspace.
- Broad questions
1.) Q- Explain a scenario in which you'd use PROD instead of sending an article to AfD.
- A- I come across an article that I am almost certain will not survive a deletion discussion yet does not unquestionably meet the speedy deletion criteria
- 4/5 A bit vague, but fair enough.
2.) Q- You tag an article for speedy deletion under criterion A7. The creator of the page then blanks it without an edit summary. What do you do?
- A- Tag it with Template:db-self due to the creator blanking the page.
- Yes
3.) Q- Why should you wait 10-15 minutes before tagging an article for CSD under criteria A1 or A3?
- A- To allow time for the article to be worked on
- Yes.
- Hypothetical scenarios
1.) Scenario I
- A- Tag with Template:db-a7
- That's the ideal option.
2.) Scenario II
- A- Obvious case for Template:db-a1
- Whatever works, I guess. I'd have used G1, but yours works perfectly well.
3.) Scenario III
- A- Try to find references or if that fails PROD it
- Either this or a nomination for deletion. Correct.
4.) Scenario IV
- A- No deletion is required for this article.
- Correct, this is notable and has sources. It could stand to be tagged and fixed, but its existence is acceptable.
