editHello, my name is Joe Floro, and I am a Senior at Illinois State University. I was born and raised in Roselle Illinois, and attended Lake Park High School,where I played hockey, football, and baseball. I am currently studying Political Science here at Illinois State. I plan to receive my major in political Science in May, and will be receiving my CFE certification this summer. CFE certification is a long and hard process which will prepare me to be a Certified Fraud Examiner. This is a new and upcoming field in which there is only around 2000 professionals worldwide, and only four being located in the state of Illinois.

editCurrently for our Politics 214 class we have been given an amazing opportunity to work with Wikipedia on a project called State Parties and Platforms. While we are enrolled in this class we are given the task to try and improve state political parties organization on Wikipedia. Although the bulk of this project's work will be done on an individual basis, we will still be helping and collaborating as a class on some aspects of the project.
