Windham Weaponry
Windham Weapon, INC is a United States manufacturer of firearms based in Windham, Maine. The firm was founded in 2011, shortly after Bushmaster announced they would move their manufacturing from Windham to facilities in New York. Richard E. Dyke, the former owner of Bushmaster had sold Bushmaster to the Cerberus Capital Management under the understanding manufacturing would continue in Windham. Around the same time Bushmaster announced the move Dyke's non-compete agreement had expired. Dyke still owned the land where the Bushmaster's Windham facilities had been built. Dyke decided to use the opportunity to create a new manufacturer that would help put Bushmaster's former employees back to work.
