Hi James.

It's great that you added something to the talk page of the article!

Organization

- Your title "Relationship to Abstract Expressionists" is a bit misleading. It makes me think that you will tell me about his relationship with other abstract expressionists. You talk about how Rauschenberg obtained the drawing and about Rauschenberg's other works. Could these be two separate headings? You may want to be more specific about which abstract expressionists he was influenced by.

- One of your sentences is similar to one in the History section of the main article. Is your intention to change that section?

Your sentence, "Rauschenberg decided to approach William De Kooning and ask him for a drawing which he could erase."

from the History section: "He approached de Kooning, an artist he admired and who was at the height of his career, and asked for a drawing that he could erase to create a new work of art. [1]"

Neutrality

Be careful about making statements that are not neutral (Wiki's rules) : "Many read this as Rauschenberg calling into question the authenticity of the Abstract Expressionists and their work." If there is a SPECIFIC person that says this about Rauschenberg that would be great to add here- be sure to cite it!

Citations

What sources are you using for this? Be sure to add them by clicking the cursor at the end of one of your sentences where you need to site an idea, click "Cite" above, and add in the citation.

The wikipedia article you are improving says that it is looking for more precise sources.
