Sarbananda Rajkumar(1909,9 September-1968,18 November) was a Historian from Assam.

    He was born in Jorhat.He completed his graduation from Cotton College.He started his teaching career at New High School as a principal(Now known as Jorhat Polytechnic).
  Social Service-- In 1947,he was the president of the 20th conference of the Assam Sahitya Sabha in the History session and president of Tai Historical and Cultural Society.He wrote many article in "Bahi","Abhahon","Joyanti","Ramdhenu","Nilasol","Monideep","Sahitya Sabha Patrika","Sangram","Surabhi","Jauti-Morol","Sarathi","Gonga","Asom Bani","Janosikhya","Journal of the Kamrup Anusandhan Samiti" etc.
   His another published books name are - "Mikir Lukohadhu","Chutiya","Bhuyan Aru Motok Rajya","Gorma Konwari"(Drama),"Bihu Konwaror Abhikhek"(Drama),"Singpho Janogusthi","Axomiya Fokora Jujona" etc.
   His another major work is "Itihase Soaura Chasahata Bachar".A historical document of six hundred years of Ahom rule in Assam,which covers administrative,social,cultural,religion,economics and commercial aspects of the time.
