Ho Yan Lee

Ho Yan Lee (Chinese: 李浩仁) is a Hong Kong education entrepreneur born in Hong Kong in 1996. Ho Yan has launched Ho Yan Academy (Chinese: 浩仁教育中心) which prepares students for language proficiency tests (IELTS.[1], TOEFL[2] & JLPT[3]).

Ho Yan was born in Hong Kong. At the age of 17, Ho Yan attended American Heritage School in Utah. He then volunteered for two years in Japan as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He taught anatomy as a teaching assistant at Utah Valley University and eventually graduated from Brigham Young University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise & Wellness. He married in 2023. Active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout his life, Ho Yan served as a ward missionary, seminary teacher, ward mission leader, and FSY counselor.

Ho Yan is active as a piano soloist and teacher. He started taking piano lessons when he was six years old. At the age of 17, he took lessons from Dr. Ralph Van Der Beek[4]. At Brigham Young University, he began his piano lessons from his current teacher, Dr. Scott Holden[5]

Ho Yan speaks fluent Cantonese, English, Japanese, and Mandarin. He also speaks basic Spanish. He passed the highest level of the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT).
