NOTICE: After a several-years long hiatus, I can again volunteer some time.
I am a 30ish mother of two with a rich and varied life and at least three careers under my belt. I am a graphic designer, illustrator, artisan, photographer, textile artist and amateur historian. I also restore old homes, and have worked as a computer technical support provider and bookseller. I've written documentation professionally, and for others participating in my hobbies.
Geek points: Longtime (former - no time in the last 2 years, and under a different handle) Usenet and WWW user. Spent time on BBS systems starting in the 1980's, and programmed a little in BASIC as a kid. Can field strip a PC in less than 20 minutes from a powered state, less if I actually have a screwdriver.
Things I can contribute:
- New copyright free art, diagrams or illustrations for articles, within reason. Please post any image creation requests to User talk:Jauncourt. Requests will be filled as I can get to them, and complex illustrations may be rejected for lack of time on my part.
My Wikimedia Commons contributions: Gallery view (all) links to examples sorted by type will be posted as needed.
