Nuverz
editNuverz is a digital education studio involved in the production of online courses[1]. The studio was founded in 2015 by entrepreneur and YouTube star Sonia Gil and others to address “the lack of great content in the online learning world.” In their view, most online education via MOOCS and courses on platforms like Coursera are merely “porting old teaching and old textbooks online.”
The company’s first course, Accounting for Entrepreneurs[2], was published in August, 2015, on the Udemy platform. The course has been designed as an introduction to applied accounting for entrepreneurs and non-financial professionals. The course is led by Sonia Gil, who uses examples from her entrepreneurial career to guide learners through the “cash, profit, and equity lenses of Accounting.”
