HOW DO WE FIGHT COVID-19?

It is almost a year since COVID -19 pandemic had globally affected the economy, tourism industry, health and wellness of every individual and even changed the social behavior of people.

The World Health Organization issued guidelines on how we will be able to practice safety health protocols for each individual to comply with in order to avoid the transmission of this virus. The Philippine government through the COVID-19 Inter-Agency Task Force had issued directives, quarantine restrictions and travel advisories in order to minimize the spread of this virus.

As a young student who normally wants to explore the world and discover new things I was restricted to spend time outside, go to malls and beaches. But my family and my community are also expecting my contribution to fight this deadly virus. Staying at home and wearing face mask, maintaining physical distancing and frequent washing of hands with soap and water are only some of the health protocols we must observe and comply. Getting enough sleep and rest, eating healthy foods like vegetables and fruits and taking food supplements like vitamins to boost our immune system in order for us to remain healthy is a must to do.

We have to perform daily temperature check and if we manifest signs and symptoms such as fever, head ache, loose bowl movement, vomiting, cough, colds, body malaise or any signs and symptoms that we feel uncomfortable we have to seek medical treatment for an early detection. This will help our community in spreading the virus. And we have to isolate ourselves from our family members if we are manifesting these signs and symptoms.
