Lead
Great job editing the lead! There’s a lot of information here that definitely reflects relevant information that adds significance to the article. The introductory sentence is clear, concise, and lets the reader know what the NYSCA is. I think it was a good choice to leave this be. I like that you added the goal of the council and discuss what the council prioritizes. I honestly don’t think you need too much more for this section.
Content
The content so far is relevant to the topic and seems like it is up to date. I think the staff section added in is great and seems like it’s organized well in order of significant positions. However, of course the article must expand from here on out, and there is a lot more work to do. I don’t know if you have any ideas going for adding in sections to this article, but for starters based on scanning through the website, perhaps instead of just staff you could throw in the names (and summarized biographies if you want to get more specific) of the 21 council members. Additionally, a section on NYSCA Grants – who is eligible, funding criteria, how to apply or the review process could be a very informational section. There also seems to be a lot of content about program guidelines and all the different fields that are represented by NYSCA, such as Architecture + Design, Music, or Literature. I’m getting all of this from the NYSCA sitemap, and since the page will need more headings/content I feel like this is a great resource to pull from!
(https://nysca.org/downloads/sitemap/index.htm) – Actually a lot of these links in this sitemap don’t seem to work, but maybe some external research would lead you to find this type of information. The annual reports has a ton of information on past meetings all the way from 1960 – this would be a great reliable source to draw directly from!! I would use these for sure. https://arts.ny.gov/annual-reports
Tone and Balance
In terms of tone/balance, the article is very neutral and does not seem like claims are biased toward one position or another.
Sources and References
I know that this is a niche topic but there is only one source used here. The About page and Staff page being different references I do understand, but number 2 and 3 are the same exact link just retrieved different times. Through WikiEdu it seems like this wasn’t your mistake but the person before, but make sure to take this out and have it be one source only. Additionally, for this article to be considered improved I do think you need more than one source. Some external digging should be done to expand the list of references! The source used is thorough and current, but diversity is necessary.
Organization
No spelling errors or grammar errors I spotted. I wrote about this in the content section but add more sections!
Images and Media
If you are able to add in any images or media you could attain permission for, that would be great! Especially as an Arts Council, this would benefit your article a lot.
Overall impressions
Overall, you’re off to a great start. I think the additions that you have made are great and as long as you keep going down this path, the article will most likely get up to the standard Mako expects from us. Keep it up!
