He was born to the Jane Adam housing projects, and moved to the East Garfield Park neighborhood after his earlier childhood years. While in elementary school, Lo discovered that he had a love for music - hip hop in particular. He began to write rhymes on the back of the school bus, later going on to record his first record "Beastie Buddy" in Memphis, TN at the age of 13. After gaining a buzz in his elementary school he went on to continue his career in music, trying his hardest to break every barrier possible.
Under the name "Kudi", Polo Tha God went on to release a series of mix-tapes starting with No Walls (2011) and subsequently releasing 2 Cool 4 Yall (2011). He released both mix-tapes at the age of 15. His second installment of that tape, 2 Cool 4 Yall Pt. 2 (2011) came later that year before he turned 16. His last project under the name "Kudi" was released later that year. Releasing Sickening (2011) became a turning point in his career after dedicating his time to distributing physical copies of the tape in his high school.
after Lo later founded Undefined Recordings, a Chicago based record label. Through his label he released his debut project "Thru Tha Smoke". Gaining success with this project, he got to go on a series of interviews and gained constant support from his supporters.
