Sacred Heart School is a state board (Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education) and ISO 14000 certified school located in Varap, Kalyan. It prides itself as 'India's 1st Eco School'. Established in 1996 by the Sacred Heart Education Society, the school has become on the premier institutes for primary and secondary education in the Kalyan-Dombivili area. The 11 acre campus of the school is built to earthquake and flood proof specifications and had been used a relief centre by government agencies during the Maharashtra floods of 2005.
