The woman I have chose for my project is Catherine Louisa Shore, a poet and writer.
Catherine Louisa Shore was born on February 20, 1824 in Bedfordshire. She was one of five children and was the youngest daughter of Thomas Shore and Margaret Anne Twopeny. Oxford Dictionary of National Biography Catherine Louisa Shore and her sister composed many poems called, "War Lyrics." Her first published work was called," War Music" which was a poem on the Crimean War. Louisa and her sister cared greatly about the wellness of women. She died on May 24, 1895 in Wibbledon, Surrey and was cremated.
