Alexis Rae Baker (Born March 7, 2003) is an American singer/songwriter.
Found under the artist name Alexis Rae, or pseudonyms notalexisrae and “angry pancake”.
[1] Known for her alternative, folky, and pop anthems, Alexis Rae is an eighteen-year-old singer/songwriter based in Western New York.
She began playing guitar at six and eventually taught herself piano at twelve, all whilst singing.
Inspired by a broad range of artists such as The Goo Goo Dolls, John Mayer, Billie Eilish, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, and 5 Seconds of Summer, she began recording and producing her own music in her bedroom at age twelve.
SoundCloud saw her first, with her own singles such as Someone To Love; Alright, and In My Heart, written and produced by Rae when she was thirteen. She also got her feet wet covering some of her favorite songs, such as “Lovely” by Billie Eilish, Alexis Rae’s cover [2] garnering over 7,000 listens.
