I have a C.Phil for completing all requirements for a PhD except for a dissertation for work in philosophy, computational neuroscience, psychophysics and vision science. I have been published in top journals, received numerous awards and grants for work in philosophy and the mind sciences. Areas of expertise include: Philosophy of Mind, Consciousness, Free Will, Neurophilosophy, History of Science, 20th Century Analytic Philosophy, Epistemology, Logic and Inference methods, Psychophysics, Vision Science & Computational Neuroscience.
Since philosophy and neuroscience are polymathic arts, I have a good understanding of several sciences; regularly read the journals Nature & Science, monitor philosophy, read broadly, studied a few natural languages, and professionally taught computer science (and have coded in at least 13 computer languages). I also follow long term techno-social change, US studies, China studies, academic economics, semiotics and am a maker familiar with multiple Internet of Thing systems and hobbyist electronics.
