I am Jennifer Spohrer, the Coordinator of Academic Technology Initiatives at Bryn Mawr College. In that role, I help faculty incorporate technology into their teaching and research and I manage several grant-funded projects involving faculty and staff at Bryn Mawr College and partner institutions. Prior to this, I was an assistant professor of history at Bryn Mawr College, and did my graduate work and received a PhD in modern European history from Columbia University in the City of New York in 2008. Prior to graduate school, I worked as a technical writer and graphic designer in the computer game industry in Austin, TX. I graduated from the Plan II Honors liberal arts program at the University of Texas at Austin in 1994.
