Job Michael is the present MLA (Member of Legislative Assembly) of the constituency of Changanacherry at Kottayam district of Kerala,India.

Advocate Job Michael is an Indian politician serving as the MLA of Changanacherry Constituency since May 2021.He is a part of Kerala Congress (M) party. In the 2021assembly election he won by 6059 votes.

Adv. Job Michael entered politics in 1979, carrying the KSC victory flag at Ithithanam Ilamkavu Devaswom High School. He was the unit president of KSC from 1980-81 when he was a pre-degree student in SB College, Changanassery.

During his graduation studies from SB College in 1986, he was the District member of KSC. In 1988, while studying for a law degree at the Thiruvananthapuram Law Academy, he became the State Organizing Secretary and General Secretary of the KSC. During 1994-95 he was the State President of KSC and led many student struggles. In 1995, he became the State General Secretary of the Kerala Youth Front.

He enrolled as a lawyer in 1995 and started practicing at Changanassery Bar. In 2005, Jose K. Mani was the State President of the Kerala Youth Front (M) and served as the General Secretary in charge of the office for five years. In 2002, he became the Standing Chairman of the District Panchayat Public Works.

2007 is notable for his brilliant work as the State President of the Kerala Youth Front (M). In 2009, he represented Kerala at the World Youth Conference in Johannesburg, South Africa. He was the hero of the Youth Movement from Kasaragod to Thiruvananthapuram in 2011 which created excitement among the youth of Kerala. In 2011, he contested from Taliparamba constituency in Kannur for the Legislative Assembly Election.

He became KSFE Board Member in 2011and later became the Vice Chairman of KSFE. In 2012, he represented Kerala at the World Conference of Young Leaders in Ecuador, Latin America. He also served as Kerala Metal Industries Board Member and Member of Legal Services Authority, Kerala High Court etc.

In 2013, he became the General Secretary of the Kerala Congress- appointed by the late KM Mani . He is still a member of the Kerala Congress (M) High  Power Committee.

In the 2021assembly election he won by 6059 votes and currently serving as the incumbent MLA of Changanacherry constituency.
