Attempted de-orphan
edit- For details, see: Using the att parameter
For the Orphan backlog at Category:Attempted de-orphan, most months have very few articles. Mostly because "attempted" is usually the last resort for really old articles (created many years ago).
- Alternatives may be to check an article's Talk and add missing Wikiprojects or update Wikiprojects - brings more attention to the article.
- The "Expert needed" posted on the article page is also helpful.
- Articles recently written can be "Move to draft" for improvements.
- For articles without any, or not reliable references, the PROD - Proposing an article for deletion or AfD Nominated for deletion are possible options.
