Battling Covid-19

edit

Covid-19 is by far one of the scary pandemic I have encounter in my life as a grade six student. Many lives were changed overnight, in a span of days, months and years Covid-19 remains as scary as it is last 2019 when it was first heard of. As we are now fighting this deadly disease for three years already the complexity of it still remains a mystery. The vaccines discovered were a big help in fighting this pandemic, Pfizer, Moderna, Astra Zeneca, Johson & Johnson, Sputnik, and Sinovac are all safe and effective in preventing severe symptoms of Covid. Safe and effective vaccines are game-changing tool but we still need to follow the health protocols like keeping our hands clean, physical distancing and avoiding crowds, as well as wearing face mask and face shield. For the seniors and like us children we must all stay in the house and avoid getting outside to avoid getting the virus. Hopefully, soon children like me can be given shots of the vaccine. Although, our world and our lives will never be the same again after Covid-19. I hope we all, as humanity learned the greatest lesson of this pandemic that is regardless of our religion, culture, customs, whether we are poor or rich, the virus simply does not choose. We are all equal, and we can rise above this if we all stick together as a community. Sharing is loving. Family is where our heart is and we should never take for granted. We should not forget our heroes, our frontliners, and above all we should never forget that our GOD is a loving GOD. We can all get through this, and once again we as humanity will survive the pandemic of the century.
