WER invite
editThis is a box to use for promoting WER editor of the week:
Do you know an under-appreciated editor who should be recognized? | |
Hi! The folks over at WER-Editor of the Week are looking for some help! We need nominations for "Editor of the Week". The ideal candidate is an editor who works hard, possibly doing behind-the-scenes kind of stuff, that just doesn't get recognized as much as they should. Although we have a preference for newer editors, any under recognized editor is eligible. So please make a note of this, and give us your nomination at: WP:EotW/N. John from Idegon (talk) 04:16, 16 January 2015 (UTC) |
- John. Thanks for the Free Advertising. It is free right???? Buster Seven Talk 18:04, 23 January 2015 (UTC)
- Yup, back when we started ETOW and I was actively involved, I made that to use on project talk pages or other places. Feel free to use it. You may want Issac or someone else that is actually good with template syntax (unlike me) to tweak it a bit, and they are welcome to do that too. You are welcome to copy it to a resource page somewhere if you want it. John from Idegon (talk) 18:29, 23 January 2015 (UTC)
AfD close
edit- @John from Idegon: You're welcome. WP:AFDCLOSE is the main instruction page, which I used today, as I hadn't closed an AfD in years! Wikipedia:Deletion process covers the full procedure from nomination until closure. Most AfD closures are made by admins though there are situations where non-admin closures are potentially appropriate, such as with today's AfD – WP:NACD is the official Wikipedia guideline on this with Wikipedia:Non-admin closure giving further details. I hope that helps. CT Cooper · talk 22:19, 4 February 2016 (UTC)
- It does. Thanks. John from Idegon (talk) 00:52, 5 February 2016 (UTC)
