Jawaker

Jawaker is an online gaming company. The platform includes digitized versions of popular card and board games in the Arab region. The company was named after the Arabized version of the word "jokers", referring to the joker cards in a deck. Jawaker was founded in 2009.

History

Jawaker was founded in 2009. In 2011, Abu Dhabi’s Two Four 54 took a minority stake in the company after investing $2.5 million. On September 9, 2021, it was announced that Jawaker was acquired by Sweden-based Stillfront Group for $205 million.
