Scores of the cross-town rivalry high school football game between the Rough Riders of Theodore Roosevelt High School and the Blue Devils/Statesmen of Kent State High School, both in Kent, Ohio. Until 1922, Roosevelt High School was known as Kent High School and until 1924, Kent State High School was known as Kent Normal High School. Kent State High School teams were known as the Blue Devils until 1960. The series was discontinued after the 1964 meeting and Kent State High School closed in 1972.
