Rosemary Odinga (born January 29, 1979) is a Kenyan entrepreneur,advocate for alternative agriculture,a [[social justice activist]], marketer and a mother. To the public, she is the gracious lady who earned prominence as the first and so far the only snail farmer in East Africa.
Rosemary was born into one of the most famous and influential political families in Kenya. Her father Raila Odinga is a leading political figure in the country and served as the Prime Minister of Kenya between 2008 and 2012. He is the leader of CORD(Coalition for Reforms and Democracy).
Her paternal grandfather Jaramogi Oginga Odinga was an internationally renowned independence struggle politician who became independent Kenya’s first Vice President (1964-
66) and later a key opposition figure who led the clamour for return of multiparty politics in the country in the early 1990s.
