Hidemi Aoki (in Japanese: 青木英美, 青木ひでみ, Aoki Hidemi) is an actress, model and singer from Japan.
Career
editShe began her career by winning a beauty contest at the age of sixteen. After that she gained some work in commercials and then was signed by the Toei Company. After various roles she became famous as the office assistant, Kumi, in Taiyō ni Hoero!. She joined the series at the same time as Yusaku Matsuda. She appeared under a pseudonym in the May 1974 edition of Japanese Playboy and in the April 1974 edition of Weekly Playboy.[1] She left acting in 1978. In the 2000s, she resumed her career in acting as well as modelling for women's magazines.
