AFTER SUNSHINE COMES RAIN
In the evening of January 9, screams of people are heard all over the village Musaka. A particular set of bandits, popularly known as "Esu dudu" meaning "Black Devils'" surrounded the village, shootings of guns were heard all over the village. Many people of different ages and background were killed, while very few of them escaped. In the village Musaka, the only thing one could see were splashes of blood everywhere. From the chiefs house to the farmlands there were carcass of dead bodies everywhere. Asher, a young girl of 15 had climbed up an iroko tree and witnessed everything that happened. She cried when she saw little kids, babies and mothers being mudered like little lambs. She cried the more when her own family was brought and gunned downed. By 6:30pm everyone in the village were dead and bandits had gone into people's houses to stay for the night. Asher, seeing that no one was around her area, climbed down, and started running although her ambition was to leave the village.
Unfortunately for Asher, one of the bandits had already seen her and had alerted his fellow men. Asher ran as fast as her could carry her
