K.B. Swimmers Flop Disorder is a 100% real thing. It happens when a young swimmer, swims too much and then gets out of the water and can’t control their muscles. Their body thinks it is in the water and it looks like they are swimming in air.
This has been diagnosed and researched by the Doctors and Scientist at TBCSU. Dr Breanna Ogden, Dr. Bella Frost and Dr. Avalynn Dickson, all say that this disease is very rare in older adults, or people who don’t swim, it is most common in younger kids.
Dr.Emerson Finch and Dr. Amelia Rojas have more information on that topic. They say “this disease is not only most common in young people but young women.
Dr. Lolanna Hopper, a proud representative of TBCSU, says, “it’s when swimmers swim so much that their body is just so used to the motion, when ever the body is used in an active way it goes back to what it’s used to, swimming. This is why when the disease flares up you move your arms in a swimming motion. This disease can go away, you have to force your muscles to go the right way and stop swimming so your muscle can forget.
Although this is a rare disease, TBCSU has had the great opportunity to have a doctor working with them with this disease. Dr. Jemima says “ I am very lucky to be able to work with such smart and talented doctors and scientists, I got this disease when I was really young, around 6, and I haven’t been able to stop it yet, but I’m still pushing.”
Although that was Dr. Jemima’s case, many others have been cured. Take Mr. Drew Gutfeld for example. “ I got this disease a year ago. I am so grateful that these doctors could help me cure me disease, I used to hate running, I looked to stupid. But now that I’ve been cured, I love it!”
Mrs. Anne James and Mrs. Mila Lauhrson had similar situations, they had the disease as kids and came to TBCSU to be cured, they were cured 7 months after coming in!
