Dr. Jamil Talukder (ড. জামিল তালুকদার) was born in May 31, 1967 (certificate) in Bangladesh (Village: Shalgram, Upazila: Adamdighi, District: Bogura) in an aristocratic family. His father's name Abdul Hamid Talukder, mothers' name Rashida Begum. He went to Shalgram Elementary School (founded by Talukder family in 1920). He went to Adamdighi Iswar Purna Joy (IPJ) High School and graduated (SSC) in 1982 (First Class). He also went to Naogaon Govt College (HSC) and graduated in 1984 (First Class). Dr Talukder achieved Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) in 1991 with University Prize (1st Class 1st) and joined as a faculty at Department of Physiology in February 12, 1992. He completed Masters degree in Physiology in 1995 and acquired Chancellor Gold medal. He obtained Japanese Govt Scholarship in 1998 and achieved PhD degree in 2003 from Yamaguchi University, Japan.
