The University of Guelph has a variety of food establishments that cater to the needs of its student body. These restaurants are situated throughout the University of Guelph campus, and specialize in a variety of types of cuisines. Food accommodations are provided throughout the North, South, East and Central campuses. The University of Guelph enables its student body to purchase food with cash or by utilizing their student meal plan. Each student may use their meal plan for most on-campus and a variety of off-campus restaurants.

Off Campus
editThe University of Guelph also provides several off campus food alternatives for its students and personnel. These dining locations enable their customers to utilize their student meal plans to purchase meals off campus throughout the city of Guelph.
These participating restaurants provide various ways for their customers to order and purchase their meals. Several restaurants include online menus which allow individuals to place an order online for delivery or pickup, while others include online menus to ensure that the food ordering process is efficient and effective. The University of Guelph Hospitality Services webpage enlists all off campus restaurants that accept the student meal plan as a form of payment. Each restaurant which accepts the student meal plan is easily accessible for customers and further information can be derived from their online menus, homepages, or by phone call.

Many students do not have access to cars and rely on their food being delivered to their residences or homes. Grub Canada caters to students by including the restaurant’s operating, as well as delivery hours, location and phone number. [5]
Eating off campus is made easy for University of Guelph students, as many restaurants include delivery services or accept meal plans. Restaurants in Guelph recognize the importance of accommodating the local University’s student body.
