I am the Systems Engineer for the Atacama Large Millimeter Array (ALMA) in charge of the development programs, including the new Wideband Sensitivity Upgrade (WSU).
In the past I was the Head of Software Product Management at the Square Kilometre Array Organisation, where I also held a position as the Systems Engineer in charge of the development of the Science Data Processor and the Telescope Manager. Previously, I have worked in astronomical software and extragalactic astronomy studies at the Instituto de Astrofísica de Andalucía of the Spanish National Research Council, and in the astronomical archives at the European Southern Observatory (ESO), and I even worked for ALMA as part of ESO's Software Development Division.
