Fawdon and West Gosforth is an electoral ward in Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear, UK. It was created in 2016 and has an electorate of 7,895, [1]

Ward Boundary

Fawdon and West Gosforth ward is bounded by the A1 motorway to the west. From the north-west corner, the boundary runs east along the Ouseburn and south to the rear of the properties on Acomb Crescent and Farne Avenue until it meets Kingston Park Road (encompassing the Red House Farm estate). From here it runs south-east, then south on Wansbeck Road North and then east along the Metro line until reaching the Great North Road. The boundary then runs south until the junction with Salters Road, where it heads west until meeting Kenton Road. It runs north on Kenton Road and turns off westward to the rear of the properties on Kenton Crescent. The boundary continues west to the rear of properties on Mountfield Gardens (excluded) and turns north on Edgefield Avenue, then west on Rowan Drive. The boundary runs south of the Fawdon factories until to meets the A1 motorway, completing the boundary.
