I am a wiki newbie, having created an account on Jan 2 2007. Prior to creating an account, I my edits to gramatical errors, and spelling mistakes. I welcome any feedback on any edit I make. My first page to offer any major contributions to is the entry on MPADs. I am in the U.S. Army, currently assigned to the Defense Information School, where I teach broadcastjournalist (hence the '46R' in my user name). I enlisted in August, 2001, and have served on active duty since then. I was married on March 16, 2002, and my wife and I have spent the last five years travelling the world together.
I am an army brat, and I have never lived in a single location for longer than four years at one time. The 'gypsy' life has it's benefits, and drawbacks. I was born on August 10th in Nuremberg, Germany. I speak broken German. My primary interests are history, military history, and politics; however I have spent many hours using wiki's 'random article' button.
During the five and a half years that I have been in the Army I have had the chance to live and visit some very exciting areas. This is by no means an all-inclusive list.
- Basic Training & Advanced Individual Training
- Rose Barracks, Vilseck, Germany
- Deployments in support Operation Iraqi Freedom 1&2
- FOB Danger, Tikrit, Iraq
- COB Speicher, Tikrit, Iraq
- FOB Warhorse, Baqubah, Iraq
- FOB Scunion, Baqubah, Iraq
- FOB Gabe, Diyala, Iraq
- Fort Lewis, Washington
- Deployments in support Operation Iraqi Freedom 5&6
- Defense Information School
Someday, I might get around to creating articles for each of those fine locations.
