I recently stumbled upon Wikipedia as I was looking something up in a Google search, and found that I was questioning why I had never known of such a wonderous thing before?
I have been looking up articles for probably close to a month and recently created an account because I have always been an advocate for the dissemination of accurate information, especially over such a versital medium as the internet.

Search user languages |
Specific languages with which I have experience are: English, German, Russian and Latin. For the former two this experience includes knowledge of the langauages' histories. For the latter two it is simply knowledge of the spoken and written languages. I have studied, to a minor degree, Old English. That is why I added the ang-0--I am capable of reading the language, and can understand it to a very small degree, but cannot produce it.
My primary interests with relation to Wikipedia are langaauges and linguistics, especially historical linguistics, and to a lesser degree, history and geography. I have some experience with the history of the English language, and to a much lesser degree the German language.
I am also a user on the German and Latin websites with the same user name Kaibab at the German, and Kaibab at the Latin, although I have only made minor additions to the former and none to the latter.
Other than that, feel free to contact me, either by using my discussion page or by emailing me.
