Idris Azzeddine Moutawakel (Arabic: إِدْرِيس عز الدين مُتَوَكِّل; born: 30 January 1996), better known as Izri, is a Moroccan little egret who resides in Draketown, Saint Titus and Cyril. Izri is an independent photographer and marketing consultant for the Football Association of Saint Titus and Cyril (FASTC). 'Izri' is a childhood nickname he acquired in school, which he has retained throughout his adulthood.
Biography
editIzri was born in the Moroccan city of Al Hoceima on 30 January 1996, as the oldest of four children in his family. His father, Azzedine, is an Algerian émigré and the owner of a small textile factory, while his mother, Saadia, is a housewife. Izri spent much of his childhood education enrolled in a French school in Al Hoceima. He also briefly pursued semi-professional football in 2002 and was initially supported by his family in his pursuit of becoming a professional footballer. However, his football prospects were effectively ended by an anterior cruciate ligament injury during a school match in the spring of 2010. Consequently, Izri turned to photography, a hobby that quickly developed into a passion.
In January of 2011, Izri and his family emigrated to Lyon after his father successfully attained French permanent residency. He adapted quickly into French society, having spent his entire education in French schools. In 2014, he attained a baccalauréat technologique in commercial marketing. Izri would further his studies at the prestiguous Emlyon Business School, but was expelled in the autumn of 2015 after he was charged for sexual assault against his ex-girlfriend, Renée. Izri and his family enlisted the help of Thana, a corvid agent, who provided loans for his defence and legal fees. In February of 2017, Izri was cleared of all charges by a local court in Lyon.
By the summer of 2017, with debts amounting to €190,297.29 owed to Thana, the raven pressed Izri to emigrate to Saint Titus and Cyril, a Caribbean nation that had been attracting foreign workers to work for its rapidly growing economy. In 2018, he became a marketing consultant for the Football Association of Saint Titus and Cyril (FASTC), where he found success in promoting the island's burgeoning football association to foreign players from Morocco and Brazil. In 2020, he briefly assumed the responsibility of overseeing the promotion of STC's women's team.
Izri faced a brief dismissal from his position when he was caught on CCTV for allegedly raping a certain secretary bird named Karani, who held the position of head of office management and front desk receptionist at GerVal Sports Centre. In an unexpected turn, Karani defended Izri, surprising the prosecution team. Once again, Izri borrowed money from Thana to fund his defence, which he won in November 2021, accruing an additional US$53,845 in debt in the process. Despite this victory, he was still charged with breaching modesty laws and was required to complete 120 hours of community service, along with a fine of $2,000.
In May 2021, Izri's job was reinstated by the FASTC after a change in leadership.
Personal life
editIzri lives alone in a small one-storey bungalow in the French-speaking part of Saint Cyril, near the town of Chaudterre. He rides a blue Suzuki Gixxer. He is a staunch supporter of the Moroccan national football team, while his favourite football club is Olympique Lyonnais. He speaks four languages: French, English, Arabic and Tarifit Berber.
An alluring yet promiscuous man, he frequently finds himself in trouble with the law for sexual immodesty. Despite this, he has several close friends, including individuals like Karani, Iqbal, and Kedran. Despite owing money to her, Thana generally shows sympathy towards Izri, and the two mutually benefit from each other's connections. Rumours suggest that Izri is in a relationship with Karani, although some claim the relationship to be abusive; a notion that Karani strongly denies.
As a photographer, he typically offers his services for weddings and special events. He also sells nudes of himself online, mainly to gay communities.
