Lota (Urdu: لوٹا), (Hindi: लोटा) un pequeño y normalmente esférico recipiente de latón, cobre o plástico usado en partes de Asia del sur. Un buque similar a la lota es el Buta, utilizado en partes musulmanas de Africa para la higiene personal y para el Wudu.
