An entertainment professional working across broadcasting industry on television shows and moving on motion pictures to work international short films, ad-films with top talents of India and films with international names like British Directors - Malcolm Mandol and Baz Taylor.
Started his career at the age of 16 as an play theatre actor, his quest and inclination as a conceptualiser armed with technical acumen, he at a young age, became an Associate director and Director for the biggest and most popular Television show ‘India’s Most Wanted’, a show that set new milestones in television industry winning many awards. He worked and consultant to many shows on creative and conceptual level for top of the broadcasting channels like ZEE Tv and Country’s National Network producer by the Iconic Sagar family ‘Ankhen’ ( Eyes), which went to win television awards. At the advent of music videos, he directed close to 23 music videos that aired all across satellite channels. Was a project conceptualiser, creative guide to a short film project –Candy Man – that was selected in New York Film Festival 2010.
As a natural progression towards motion pictures, he worked with a European based company producing movies where he was creative head and was an Associate Director to move like ‘Kaun Hai Jo Sapne Main Aaya ( Who came in my dreams)’, Chess, that was screened in Cannes Film festival 2004, Co-Edited with Shekhar Kapur (the Elizabeth and Bandit Queen fame) Exitz – A British Feature starring Malcolm Mandol, Directed by Lawarnce Postma and Take 3 Girls – directed by Baz Taylor. An Indian full length feature called 498A – Wedding Gift direct by Suhaib Illyasi. ‘Back to Honeymoon and Purab aur Paschim (East and West), where he played the role of Creative Producer.
He moved into screenwriting and direction where he directed an A lister of Bollywood ‘John Abraham’ for a Automobile company “Castrol” advertisement.
Currently, he is directing Punjabi Films with Purple Pebble Pictures, a company owned by Padamshree receippient Actress from India and celebrated Hollywood face Priyanka Chopra. He also in incubation stage of a full length commercial hindi feature film OUSTED that is proposed to have indian and Hollywood cast.
