A deeper look reveals an ulterior motive for her return. Late at night, she return to "Shakers", a bar where she was once employed as a waitress. There, she must confront Eric (Eklund) as well as Sal (Coates) to retrieve an incriminating sex tape from years prior.

Background
Having previously directed a black comedy and family drama, Ferocious marks Cuffley's first foray into the suspense thriller. The film was inspired by Cuffley's various meetings with different actors and their relationship with fame.
Although the film takes place primarily in the night club, "Shakers", the filming broke up the location over seven different locales. All of these were in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The locations include a limousine company storage facility and a closed down fight club.
