"Lets Talk About The Quite Crisis In College Sports"[1] This is an article written by the University of South Carolina on college athletics and mental health. This specific article shows the perspective of a NBA player Demar DeRozan and how his mental health issues traveled with him into the NBA. I will be using this article in more than one way, one to use it to show that it goes beyond just college and secondly when you ignore it in college it wont just go away and DeRozan and this article does a great job displaying that.

"Prioritizing Mental Health In College Athlete's" [2] This is an article from Trine Edu that sheds light on athletes mental health as well as providing statistics from current and past years. I will be using statistics from this website. It also does a good job breaking down the key points of collegiate athletes.

"Mental Health Issues Remain on minds of Student Athletes" [3] This article is directly from the NCAA, I will be using lots of information from this website as the NCAA are the ones who make the rules and overall supply the funding and needs for help. I will be pulling rules and current updates from this website to use in my article.

"There is a mental health crisis in College Sports. I know it firsthand" [4]This page is by the Washington Post that speaks about mental health crisis in general but what I will be using this page for is the section where it speaks on where this certain individual realized he was struggling bit he speaks positively on the resources his school offered. I will be using this to show the help that is needed and is being provided only at some schools.

"What Is the average day of college athletes" [5] I will be using this article because it does a good job of breaking down a typical day in the life of a college athlete and their expectations throughout a day.

"Athletes and Mental Health:Breaking the Stigma"[6] This article does a good job of explaining the reality of the mind of a student athlete, I will be using the stats and quoting the doctors words in this article as he does a good job breaking down the why of why student athletes dont ask for help.

"What the NCAA misses with Athletes Mental Health" [7] While this is partly a story from a former athlete, it goes into breaking down changes that need to be made and why, which I will be touching on in my writing so this source will be good for me to take thoughts from for the why part.
