Sta-Lok Terminals Founded by Ivor Barfield, the Sta-Lok self fit terminal was first introduced at the London International Boat Show in 1973. Becoming incorporated in 1983, Sta-Lok Terminal Limited operates from Mistley, Manningtree in Essex and is still a family run business. In 1990 Ivor Barfield, his sone Terry Barfield and Colin Myers, a yachtsman from Sprightliness, join the forces to launch Apex Rigging Factors. That time they were distributing yacht rigging equipment and related products such as wire ropes, shock cords, terminals and turn buckles. Swere fist introduced at the London International show in 1972 and even since then Sta-Lok is one of the world's leading manufacturer of stainless steel rigging hardware.
