Hello and welcome to my page
I'm still pretty new here, so please give me some time to learn and trust that I'm working to improve my wiki skills as best as I am able.
My interests, academic background and working life include women's and cultural issues, as well as health policy and politics, all with a focus on Canada, specifically.
I'm not a technical person by nature or background, and wiki mark up does not come easily to me, but I have jumped in since I became tired of the chorus of complainers about Wikipedia content and felt it was my civic duty to contribute and help, like so many others, make Wikipedia the best it can be. The work done by Wikipedians thus far is impressive -- and the reach of Wikipedia is astounding. I hope to contribute to this great project where I am able.
Looking forward to working with many of you in the future!
